My little boy absolutely LOVED this book!!! It's a sweet endearing story, perfect for elementary school age boys and girls. Hope they come out with a 2nd story about Jimmy Cockroach! I encourage parents and teachers to read this book to their children and students. It gets the young reader's imagination stirred up about all creatures, while helping them learn in the process. Parents will enjoy reading it too! I think teachers should recommend that incoming students read this book each year before school starts. It'd be a good way to get dialog going between the two. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
